Description

Hemmerder Wiesen is a small nature reserve of 53 hectares with meadows and pastures along the Amecke stream. The fields left and right of the road offer many observation opportunities. Trees and bushes provide hiding spots. After rainfalls and controlled via a small weir the fields get flooded and attract waterfowl. Among the birds you can encounter in the area are Vivak, Barska šljuka, Crvenonogi sprudnik, Žalar slepić, Rusi svračak, Bela roda, Plovka kašikara, Crnoglava travarka and Strnadica žutovoljka.
