The Flemhudder See area is located between the lake Westensee area and the North Sea- Baltic Sea Channel and offers some nice birding all year round. Best spot to observe Mali ronac in the winter. Crnoglava plavokljuna patka has been present here in 2020 and 2021. Some of the other birds you can encounter are Riđovrati gnjurac, Šiljkan, Ždral, Trstenjak rogožar and Eja močvarica.
