Nice area, especially in spring, when the area holds a lot of water. Obična travarka is very often observed during spring.
In the beginning of Ehemalige Rieselfelder Werne you pass a tiny forest, where you can find Carić, Veliki detlić and Zelena žuna and some other forest species. In the winter you can see Velika bela čaplja, Lisasta guska and sometimes even a Guska glogovnjača (tundranska). The biggest part of the area are fields that sometimes hold water. These fields are fenced, wich is good for Obična travarka and Crnoglava travarka. In the fields you can see Livadska trepteljka and Žuta pliska you can watch even in the summer.
You have to park at the cemetery. Click on the P in the map for directions. From the parking you can go into a small path, where you first see a tiny forest and then the fields
How good the area is for birding depends on how much water there is. If there is much water, it is good, if there is no water, you nearly see nothing. In 2016 Mala bela čaplja and in 2015 a Western Yellow Wagtail (flavissima) was recorded.
