Description
With 805 km², the Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft National Park is the largest national park on the Baltic Sea. It covers a land area of 118 km² and a water area of 687 km². Very natural, only accesible via foot or bike. Beautiful landscape and long beaches. 163 breeding bird species are listed.
These include Veliki vranac, many duckspecies, Veliki labud, Belolika guska, Srednji ronac, Mala sprutka, Sabljarka Zlatni vivak and Srebrni vivak. The national park is particularly known for its flock of Ždral. Autumn is the highlight every year: from September to November, around 60,000 cranes pull through and remain in the area for several weeks.

Access
You can only access the area by foot and certain trails by bike. Parkplaces you can find in Prerow, Wieck, Born or Ahrenshoop.
