Description
Brachfläche Gimmersdorf is a small area of extensively grazed meadows, where parts are left to natural development. Breeding birds include Rusi svračak and Crnoglava travarka. The shrub to the north is home to typical hedge breeders such as various warblers and Strnadica žutovoljka. The water bodies that were once created are only filled with water in years with sufficient rainfall. During migration many birds can be spotted, especially waders in the wettest parts. From the road you have a good overview. Among the birds you can encounter are Žalar slepić, Vetruška, Obična grmuša, Krivokljuni sprudnik, Barska šljuka, Crnotrba sprutka, Sprudnik ubojica and Vivak.
