Description
The Bordelumer Heide with its many habitats ranging from spruce forests and little ponds to heathland, provides a home to different bird species. In the forest you can find birds such as Siva muharica, Ćubasta senica and Kratkokljuni puzić. The ponds and the surrounding reed are habitats for Trstenjak crvrkutić, Divlja guska and Vodomar. Where the area is more open you can hear Šumska trepteljka sing in spring. Obična kukavica, Strnadica žutovoljka, Mala brezova juričica and Crnoglava travarka are also breeding in the heath areas. A Sivi soko breeds near by in the radiotower. Sometimes Belorepan are flying over the area to hunt at the coastline.
