The Auersmacher field is home to the highest density of Poljska ševa in the entire Saarland. It is a large field with many information boards and hiking trails and cyclists, walkers and birders share the area. Other birds you can expect are Vetruška, Riđa lunja, Mišar, Crna lunja and Zelena žuna.
