The site is a limestone grassland typical of the côte Mâconnaise.
Mont de la Fa is mainly composed of limestone grasslands where you can find typical bird species such as Leganj, Šumska ševa, Crnogrla strnadica and even Pupavac. The star of the site is Sredozemna crnoglava grmuša! You can also observe Lastavičar and Bela čiopa hunting and for the lucky ones the Buljina singing in the distance at dusk.

Français: Le site est une pelouse calcicole typique de la côte Mâconnaise. Le site est principalement composé de pelouses calcaires où l'on retrouve des espèces typiques comme l' Leganj , l' Šumska ševa , le Crnogrla strnadica ou encore la Pupavac . La star du site reste la Sredozemna crnoglava grmuša ! On peut également observer le Lastavičar ou le Bela čiopa en chasse et pour les plus chanceux le Buljina chanter au loin au crépuscule.
Mont de la Fa is accessed through the village of La Roche-Vineuse via Chemin de la Belouse. Click on the P in the map for directions to a parking spot. The circular route indicated on the map is about 4 km.
