Description

Le Trou Boully (also known as Les étangs de Le Plessis Brion) is part of a large flood valley of national importance: the Middle Valley of the Oise. The site is divided into two parts, each with a lake surrounded by hay meadows. Among the birds you can encounter are Čegrtuša, Riđoglava patka, Ćubasti gnjurac, Trstenjak crvrkutić, Mali slavuj, Obična kukavica, Obična grmuša, Veliki vranac, Obična čigra and Vodomar.

Français: Les étangs de Le Plessis Brion sont composés de plusieurs étendues d’eau, dont deux à vocation écologique. Anciennes gravières de la société Lafarge, ils étaient devenus une réserve ornithologique. Un observatoire y avait d’ailleurs été installé.

Le Trou Boully is located on the left bank of the Oise river, 10 km north of Compiègne, close to the village of Le Plessis Brion. Click on the P in the map for directions.

Français: Le site du Plessis-Brion s’inscrit dans la continuité d’une grande vallée inondable d’importance nationale : la Moyenne Vallée de l’Oise. Situé en rive gauche de la rivière Oise, à 10km au Nord de Compiègne, il se trouve en limite des communes de Longueil-Annel et Choisy-au-Bac.
