Along the river Ognon and the forest and lakes of Bonnal many bird species can be observed. Especially Pčelarica, Riđa lunja, Žutarica, Crna lunja and Vodomar. In summer it is also possible to see big groups of Bela roda en Mišar. The best way to see birds at the river L'Ognon is by canoe, you can see many groups of Pčelarica breeding. Other birds you can see in the area are Srednji detlić, Zelena žuna and Osičar.

Click on the P in the map for directions. From Camping 'Val de Bonnal' you can explore the area on foot. The circular walk indicated on the map is about 4,5 km. Another very nice way to explore the area is by canoe (you can rent a canoe on Camping 'Val de Bonnal').
