Description

Etang Noir is a popular wintering spot for surface-feeding ducks, and breeding area for marshland passerines. Veliki trstenjak, Trstenjak crvrkutić, Trstenjak rogožar, Barska strnadica, Vuga, Pupavac, Barski petlovan, Strnadica žutovoljka, Velika bela čaplja, Mala bela čaplja, Crvena čaplja, Čegrtuša and Grogotovac. Prdavac and waders on migration.

Access

The reserve is located west of the main Bayonne-Bordeaux highway and midway between Hossegor and Souston. Click the P on the map for directions. The circular trails marked are each about 1 km.
