Description
We visited Étang du Marnant in May 2023. The surrounding hills and bushes are a true bird magnet. Lots of shrubbery, open field, locally also very dense vegetation. Many Mali slavuj (!) but also Crnoglava grmuša, Zeba, Siva grmuša, Obična kukavica, Češljugar and Obični kos. From our terrace on the water we also heard Pupavac, Zelena žuna, Vuga and Grlica.

Français: Nous avons visité l'Étang du Marnant en mai 2023. C'est un lac en forme de L d'environ 3 km de long. Il y a un chemin autour du lac. Les collines et les buissons environnants sont un véritable aimant à oiseaux. Beaucoup d'arbustes, champ ouvert, localement aussi une végétation très dense.

Access
You can park for free in the parking lot of the campsite or at the adjacent playing field. Click on the P in the map for directions. After a rain shower, the path along the bank (grass) can be quite soggy. In the months of July and August, the building next to the playground seems to be a catering facility with live music. There is a lot of angling in the lake.

Il y a aussi beaucoup de pêche dans le lac. Après une averse, le chemin le long de la berge (herbe) peut être assez détrempé. Pendant les mois de juillet et août, le bâtiment à côté de la cour de récréation semble être un établissement de restauration avec de la musique live.
