Description
Etang David is a place filled with bush birds, especially in springtime: Crnoglava grmuša, Mali slavuj, Grlica are easy to find, as well as Vodomar and Prevez on the pond. Woodpeckers can be found on deciduous trees: Veliki detlić, Mali detlić, Zelena žuna, Crna žuna.
The place is also a nesting area for herons: Gak, Siva čaplja, Čaplja govedarka can be spotted from the pond side.
Some raptors: Crna lunja, Lastavičar and with chance Riđa lunja and Zmijar are easy to spot hunting around.
Unusual birds like Senica vuga are possible during a walk across this picturesque little place.
