Ruusuniemi is a nice place for observing waterfowl as they swim around the area or fly by. Gluvara , Patka dupljašica , Ćubasta patka , Labud grbac , Kanadska guska , Veliki labud , Veliki ronac and Srednji ronac are a common sight from this spot. Birders have also sighted Mali ronac among other duck species and Velika bela čaplja flying by. There's also a bird feeding spot in a walking distance during winter times.
