Description
Kaidanpään Lintutorni is a bird observation tower that offers a great vantage point for observing various bird species. You can see waterfowl, herons, and have a good chance to hear Vodeni bik and Barski petlovan. Belorepan can be seen hunting all year round. Other birds you can observe in the area include Veliki labud, Plovka kašikara, Zviždara, Krdža, Ćubasta patka, Mali ronac, Veliki ronac, Ćubasti gnjurac, Ždral, Sprudnik ubojica, Barska šljuka, Sprudnik migavac, Crvenonogi sprudnik, Velika čigra, Obična čigra, Ribar, Eja močvarica, Veliki detlić, Lastavičar, Jelova senica, Ćubasta senica, Brkata senica, Trstenjak rogožar, Trstenjak crvrkutić, Šumska trepteljka and Strnadica žutovoljka.

Kaidanpään Lintutorni is located in Masku, which is about 25 kilometers northwest of the city of Turku. You can reach the area by local bus but then you still have to walk some kilometers. So best to go there is with car or by bicycle. There is small parking place where the path to birding tower starts. Press P on the map for directions to the parking. From the parking you have to walk about 1 km to the observation tower.
