Description
The Bruksviken area is an important water bird area where many waterfowl nest during the summer. Migrating birds also like to rest here which offers a chance to spot a wide variety of birds in the area. Kanadska guska, Belolika guska, Divlja guska, Labud grbac, Veliki labud, Krdža and Siva čaplja can be seen during migration season and sometimes waders like Laponska muljača, Velika carska šljuka and Crni sprudnik stop by too. Velika bela čaplja and Crvenovrata liskonoga have been sighted here a few times as well. During summer months there are cows grazing among the reeds as part of a program to keep the bay area open for birdlife.
