Description
The former sand pit Pískovna Dobříň is an interesting site for birdwatching. Sand is not mined here now. The lake complex is interesting especially during migration in spring and autumn. It is also an important regional wintering ground. Birds that can be spotted include Divlja guska, Prevez, Riđoglava patka, Obična čigra, Žalar slepić, Obični galeb, Sinji galeb, Mali slavuj, Veliki trstenjak, Vuga, Eja močvarica and Bregunica. In winter you can observe Patka dupljašica and Veliki ronac.

Pískovna Dobříň is located directly east of the village of Dobříň. You can park on the embankment or walk from Dobříň train station (1).
