Description
This area along the Vltava River is not a very beautiful place, but you can find some interesting birds there and there are many ducks and swans on this part of the river. Mandarinka is common. Also common are Ćubasta patka, Mali gnjurac, Labud grbac, Gluvara, Obični galeb, Vodomar, Crna crvenrepka and Zelena žuna. In winter Sinji galeb and Veliki vranac are regulars. If you have a bit of luck, you can also find Čegrtuša. In the winter, some rarer ducks like Plovka kašikara, Zviždara, Patka dupljašica, Veliki ronac or Prevez can be found there.

This area of the river is located 8 km south from the city center of Prague. Easy to reach from Prague by tram.
