Description
Dubový Rybník is a shallow pond where rare birds like Belorepan or Ribar sometimes show up. Among the breeding birds are Eja močvarica, Barska šljuka, Veliki trstenjak and Siva čaplja. In February and March, when they arrive from wintering grounds there is a chance to see Ždral. Focus your binoculars on the reed beds and surrounding meadows to find them. All year round you can watch the hunting efforts of the Vodomar or Siva čaplja on the pond.
