Evretou Reservoir lies at an altitude of 165 meter and attracts birds like Riđi mišar, Prugasti orao, Modrokos Turska kamenjarka, Crni frankolin, Ćubasta kukavica, Vlastelica, Barska šljuka, Sprudnik migavac, Žuta čaplja, Pupavac, Modrovrana, Sivi voljić and more. The reservoir at Evretou can be one of the most productive wetland sites in the west of Cyprus. The neck-end of the reservoir usually has shallow marshy areas for waders and herons.

Access
You can make different stops around the reservoir. The best area for birding is marked on the map. Click on the P on the map to get directions. The road here usually continues across the valley over a bridge with pools and marshes either side, but can be flooded sometimes.
