Beautiful place on the little-explored river Guaiquillo, where the birds find tranquility and can be observed very well.
The river Guaiquillo flows just south of the town of Curicó. Numerous birds can be found on the banks of the river, on the water and in the surrounding fields. Among the birds you can encounter are Snowy Egret, Pied-billed Grebe, Black-crowned Night Heron, Greater Yellowlegs, Picui Ground Dove, Plumbeous Rail, South American Snipe (Magellanic), Chimango Caracara, Black-chinned Siskin and Austral Blackbird.
