Description

Gornje Telelovo Polje is the flattest part of the Sarajevo Valley where the Miljacka and the Bosne Rivers converge. It is a floodplain for the rivers. On either side there are open fields with only scattered trees, two of the largest fields are cultivated in summer. The whole area covers more than 300 hectares. The birds you can see here are a mix of water birds and field birds. Large numbers of Bela pliska and Siva čaplja. Among the other birds you can see here are Sprudnik ubojica, Veliki vranac, Žutarica, Čižak, Krdža, Šiljkan, Sprudnik pijukavac, Obična travarka and Trstenjak rogožar.
