During winter and spring the wetland and meadows of Reymere en Paardenweide are good feeding and resting grounds for geese and ducks including Belolika guska, Šiljkan, Grogotovac, Šarena utva, Zviždara and Krdža. Also many other birds. For example Vodomar, Mali detlić, Vivak and Žalar slepić.

You can park your car at the carpark of the GC Groendal in Merelbeke (Brandegemse Ham 5) or see the P on the map. There is also direct bus accces to GC Groenendal from the trainstation of Ghent or Merelbeke.
