Description
The 12 hectares of the area consist of four former fish ponds in the Molenbeek valley. The ponds have been managed in a nature-friendly way for ten years. They are a good place to make the first spring observations of Mali gnjurac , Ćubasti gnjurac , Vodomar , Trstenjak crvrkutić , Veliki vranac . During the winter half-year, in addition to modest numbers of Ćubasta patka, Riđoglava patka, Krdža are present. Other species are seen to a lesser extent Čegrtuša, Plovka kašikara, Grogotovac , Čapljica.
In recent years many rareties were seen during migration, like Crnovrati gnjurac, Riđovrati gnjurac, Vodeni bik, Senica vuga, Crni turpan ,Žuta čaplja.
