Nice place at the huge Knik River 40 km north of Anchorage where you can observe many Bald Eagle.
The Knik River is a 25-mile-long (40 km) river in Alaska. Its source is at Knik Glacier, from which it flows northwest and west and empties into the head of Cook Inlet's Knik Arm, near the mouth of the Matanuska River. Exactly on this spot on the Knik River at the Reflections Lake you can spot many Bald Eagle.
Take the Knik RIver Access Road and park directly at the river near Reflections Lake. Click on the P in the map for directions or coordinates.
