Reclaimed farmland, now a network of ditches with open water and wetland, surrounding small bits of woodland.
Worth Marsh has beautiful open views toward Sandwich Bay and Deal. The area attracts both beločela gos and belolična gos in the winter, and occasionally Njivska gos (serrirostris). Wooded area has recently held divja grlica in the spring, other regular visitors are mali deževnik and škrjančar. In 2022 Worth Marshes was put firmly on the map when a sredozemski sokol entertained 100s of birders from across England. rdečenoga postovka has also popped up here a couple times in the last few years.
Park in the village of Worth. The area is accessed by walking one of the public footpaths, which are well maintained and provide views over most of the area. The circular walk indicated on the map is about 4 km long.
