Description

Schiehallion is a prominent cone-shaped mountain in the Breadalbane region of the Scottish Highlands. It rises to 1,083 metres. Schiehallion has all the typical Scottish upland birds: travniška cipa, kupcar, poljski škrjanec, močvirska uharica, pepelasti lunj, planinski orel, navadna postovka, mali sokol, sokol selec, rjavi škarnik, siva vrana, krokar, Red Grouse, ruševec and komatar. snežni strnad and barjanski jereb above 2,000ft/900m. Apparently, no dular.

Access

Car park at Braes of Foss. 10 miles north of Aberfeldy on B846, then left on minor road. Walk to summit is 2.8 miles (4.5 km) each way. Prepare for the high ground: wear stout boots, warm waterproof clothing, check weather forecast, carry food, water, charged mobile phone.
