Description

Ruddon's Point is said to be the best place in Britain to view overwintering crna raca, beloliska and the rare očalarka together. Also wintering here may be gaga, zvonec, veliki žagar, rjavovrati ponirek, zlatouhi ponirek, all 3 diver species, morski prodnik and srednji žagar.

poljski škrjanec, obalna vriskarica, školjkarica, rdečenogi martinec, komatni deževnik and repnik breed here, plus krivokljun, čižek and rumenoglavi kraljicek in the pines.

As with many east coast sites, rare migrants such as pisana penica, mušja listnica and mali muhar may turn up in September.
