Description

Beautiful views and plenty of places to explore in a relatively small area, including the pier, rockpools, and beach. Parking and places to eat also in abundance. Huge noisy colony of triprsti galeb breed underneath the pier in late summer, allowing for very close and intimate views of chicks and adults with little disturbance. In summer, this is a reliable place to see črnoglavi galeb, often side by side with rečni galeb. Through winter, flocks of peščenec, školjkarica, and srebrni galeb can be seen regularly, along with veliki kormoran, veliki galeb, and rjavi galeb. rdečegrli slapnik have also been reported here.
