Description

Middleton-in-Teesdale is a market town in County Durham. The settlement is surrounded by the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Spring offers a great opportunity of seeing a range of birds, including woodland specialists (črnoglavi muhar pogorelček), moorland specialists and bird of upland rivers such as ruševec, mali martinec and povodni kos. Among the other birds you can encounter are komatar, siva pastirica, čižek and poljski škrjanec.
