Description
This is a favourite place with birders in Scotland. In Spring and early Summer there are polarni slapnik on the loch and ribji orel fish here. In the surrounding area there are both Red Grouse and prosnik, assorted raptors, and sivi galeb breed here in summer. You may also see veliki škurh and priba. There are some Mountain Hare present in Winter.

Access by Car or Bike. Easy to find from Carrbridge / Grantown on Spey / Inverness. For parking there are several pull-ins off the road. Do not block passing places or entrances.
Park the car, and there are tracks that can can be followed on foot, but no circular route.
