Description

Gronant has 200 pairs of breeding mala čigra and some kričava cigra and navadna čigra. Several wader species, navadna postovka, Pegasta sova, crna raca, poljski škrjanec and repnik. On the 4 ha Big Pool reserve there are trstni strnad, srpična trstnica, dolgoprsti plezalček, siva pastirica, sivi muhar, čižek and Mokož. Sand lizards, natterjack toads, pyramid orchids, sea holly, sea purslane and other wildflowers can be found in the dunes.

Village is one mile east of Prestatyn on A458. Click on a P in the map to get directions to a parking. The area has 2 viewing platforms, a hide and limited wheelchair access.
