Giant's Park is an old land-fill site covering 341 acres. It has almost completely rewilded and borders Belfast Lough.
Giant's Park is off the beaten track and you'll probably have the whole place to yourself. Nice to walk round the shore to spot shore birds or through the middle to spot field birds. Among the birds you can see here are veliki škurh, duplinska kozarka, ščinkavec and rdečenogi martinec.
You need to drive to Dargan Road. You will see a sign for Giant's Park and a large black and white building. You can park along this road. There is a path around the park but if you want to visit the interior you will have to walk through grassland and small bushes
