Two natural small sized and historical islands located in the core of Golden Horn. A spot that is attractive for waterfowl, herons and passerines.
Bahariye Islands are close to some of the touristic attractions of Istanbul. The islands host dozens of domestic rabbits. Because of its inner location in the Golden Horn, the water is always calm and birds hang around the island. liska siva čaplja and pritlikavi kormoran are some of common species in the area.
There is no access to the islands, only observable from the coastline. "Eyüpsultan Teleferik" is the nearest tram stop to reach the area. Walking is the best way to discover the surroundings.
