A high hill that gives a really good view of the surroundings, perfect for watching birds of prey.
The area arround Börringe is well known for being a hotspot to watch raptors. It is especially interesting during autumn migration when the birds are passing by, but now and then rare eagles spend the winter in the general area.
Park along the road and climb the steep hill. From the top you will have a good view of the area. Breeding birds are rjavi škarnik, črni škarnik, belorepec and kanja. From August the migration starts, with September as its peak. During this period big numbers of Sršenar and kanja can be seen migrating. More rare but regular is stepski lunj and mali klinkač but also rarities such as veliki klinkač, kačar and kraljevi orel and even once rjavi jastreb has been seen over the years.
Drive the E65, turn off of south at Havgårdsvägen, follow it 500 meters and park along the road. Click on the P in the map yo get directions. The road is quite narrow so make sure to give space for the traffic.
