Description
The Lillfjärden lake is primarily known for its geese. belolična gos, siva gos, and kanadska gos all breed. The lake also holds the entire swedish non-breeding population of mala gos. Other geese like beločela gos, njivska gos, kratkokljuna gos can often be found. Some years Njivska gos (serrirostris) and grivasta gos are also found during migration periods.
The lakes rocky coast is also often home to waders like črni martinec, rdečenogi martinec, mali deževnik (breeds), školjkarica (breeds), and togotnik. The lake holds large amounts of mlakarica and smaller amounts of other dabbling ducks. Even species which are rare in northern areas like konopnica, žličarica and reglja. Smaller amounts of diving ducks can often be found. Wintering pegam and smrekov kalin are often found. Although the numbers vary widely.

Access
The lake lies directly north to the center of Hudiksvall. There are many places to park the car. Click on the P in the map to get directions. You can make a circular walk around the lake (2,5 km).
