Description

The Ganlet area is small but still consists of varied habitats such as pasture, wetland and mountains. Ganlet is a popular bathing spot and there is also a marina here, which means that the human disturbance can be great during the summer months. A visit for bird watching is therefore best done during the rest of the year, outside the summer season.

Ganlet is best during spring and autumn, when there can be a number of birds resting and moving around in the area, and when a number of migrating birds also pass by. Even in winter, it can be worth a visit as the area can usually attract a number of wintering birds and wading birds.
