In this location beloglavi jastreb can be observed in the canyon formed by the Riu Millars – on or around the cliffs just on the opposite side of the road.
While beloglavi jastreb can be observed in many places in the region, the Riu Millars canyon between Torre-xiva and Toga is particularly 'convenient', as it is easy to reach. In this canyon you can observe the (nesting) birds from the road. There is no real parking facility but you can stop in some places along the road. The cliffs are approx. 300 m high. The beloglavi jastreb can be found in a colony; when you scan the opposite cliffs with your binoculars (or better: spotting scope) just look for bigger whitish spots on the cliffs.
The road CV-20 runs through the gorge between the villages of Torre-xiva and Toga. Click on a P in the map to get directions to that spot.
