The town of La Seu de Urgell is located on the river Rio Segre. The river area that is close to a canoeing training park, is nice for a bird walk. Along the way marsh birds, passerines and raptors can be spotted. Among the birds you can see are vodomec, slavec, povodni kos, siva pastirica, veliki kormoran, siva čaplja, brglez, črnoglavka, šmarnica and smrdokavra.

This area is located near the town of La Seo de Urgell, 8 km from the border with Andorra. In the town there is a parking and motorhome area near the river. Ideal route for walking or cycling. The circular walk indicated on the map is about 9 km long. The path is a dirt road, with a path parallel to the river, with good access to the shore.
