Description
The small Puebla campsite is situated on the Embalse de José Torán. This reservoir is located on the bird migration route to Tarifa. As spring progresses, a large part of the reservoir dries up, allowing you to make beautiful walks inside the reservoir. Especially during the autumn migration the (empty) reservoir is visited by hundreds of komatni deževnik and mali deževnik, 3 species of rumena pastirica, countless rdeca lastovka, as well as skalna lastovka, mestna lastovka, breguljka and kmečka lastovka. smrdokavra can be seen in large numbers. lebduh hunts every day, often with 2 or 3 individuals.
In spring and summer the campsite has breeding rjavi srakoper, šmarnica, pogorelček, črnoglavi muhar, sivi muhar, južni veliki srakoper, travniški vrabec, 4 species of tits, veliki detel, mali detel and zelena žolna. The španski kraljevi orel and beloglavi jastreb breed in the vicinity of the campsite. kačar, mali orel and ribji orel are also frequently seen, as are črni škarnik and rjavi škarnik.
Located between Seville and Cordoba, the small campsite is an excellent place to stay surrounded by nature. There are a huge variety of birds to spot on and around the campsite. If you stay for a few days, you can easily see 80 species of birds up close.
