Plans de Sió is a large steppe-type area, dominated by single-crop cereal farming, located in the Segarra region. It is a dry landscape with some shrubs or scrub. Steppe bird species, such as močvirski lunj, mala droplja and Prlivka breed in the area, but can be hard to find. The more common birds include španska kotorna, beloglavi jastreb, kačar, mali orel, rjavi škarnik, smrdokavra, južni veliki srakoper, laški škrjanec, navadna postovka and veliki strnad. Sometimes španski kraljevi orel is observed.

Plans de Sió - Font de Queralt is located between Lleida and Manresa. You can enter the area through two entrances. Click on the P in the map fo directions.
