Inland lagoon in a coniferous forest area, fed by groundwater and rainwater. The 30 hectares area is very nice for birdwatching.
The Laguna de Talayuelas houses a varied flora and fauna. It is a freshwater lagoon settled on sand and clay soils. A nice area with surrounding forest and many birds you can see. Very interesting in June in order to see a migration of sredozemski sokol from some mediterranean islands for feeding on dragonflies. Other interesting birds you can see here are Buitre Leonado, sloka, španska kotorna and Pico Picapinos.
Take N-330 direction Teruel, about 5 km before arrive to Talayuelas village you can see a signal on right side. There is a small parking in the lagoon. And you can continue by bike or walking. The circular trail shown on the map is 2,5 km.
After you visited the lagoon you can do more nice walks in the surrounding forest.
