Description

Easy hike of 2 km on a dirt road from the chapel of Ermita de la Pietat to the Bassa de la Ermita pond. Through uninhabited fallow land and well-tended olive groves. This varied landscape is home to many birds. You can hear many birds, such as kobilar, grilček, slavec , črnoglavka, zelenec, kos and turška grlica, and observing birds like domaci vrabec, mestna lastovka, kmečka lastovka and smrdokavra. Depending on the water level in the pond, which is fed by rain, water birds such as liska , mlakarica and siva čaplja can be spotted.

Español: Es un paseo fácil de 2 km por un camino de tierra desde la Ermita de la Piedad hasta la charca de la Ermita. Atraviesa campos en barbecho y olivares bien cuidados. Este variado paisaje alberga una gran variedad de aves, y se pueden escuchar numerosas especies, como... kobilar, grilček, slavec , črnoglavka, zelenec, kos y turška grlica, y ver otras como domaci vrabec, mestna lastovka, kmečka lastovka y smrdokavra. Dependiendo del nivel del agua en la charca, que depende de la lluvia, puede haber aves acuáticas como liska , mlakarica y siva čaplja.

Access

The Ermita de la Pietat is located north of the village of Ulldecona. There is a large parking lot next to the hermitage. Press P on the map for directions to the parking lot. The parking is the starting point for the hike (2 km one way, 4 km there and back).
