Description
Piatra Secuiului mountain peak rises to an elevation of 1,129 meters and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding Transylvanian countryside. Between Rimetea village and the mountain you will find grasslands, agricultural lands and orchards where you can spot žalobna sinica. Once the climb starts one might be lucky to be welcomed by skalni strnad. Once on the ridge you enter the kingdom of planinski hudournik, hudournik and skalna lastovka. At the southern end facing west on the rocky cliffs with a great amount of luck and patience one could see slegur. Keep an eye out for skalni plezalček. It could be on any of the many westerly sheer rock faces.
