Description

Vilarinha is located on the bird migration route just inland of the Atlantic coast in the far southwest of Portugal. The Vilarinha viewpoint is an easy access spot, with good panoramic view and passage area of migratory birds and especially raptors that cross the Mata Nacional Barão de São João. Among the birds you can see are mali orel, beloglavi jastreb, egiptovski jastreb, rjavi škarnik, črni škarnik, kragulji orel, Sršenar, bela štorklja and črna štorklja.

Access

Vilarinha is located in the far southwest of Portugal. Follow N238 towards Aljezur and exit right direction Vilarinha/Beiçudo. Then, take the first right on the dirt road and then left. Continue until you find a geodesic landmark. Press P on the map for directions.
