Description
The Kostrzyń River is a typical Masovian stream – narrow, with a calm current, flowing through fields, meadows, and forest patches. Its banks are overgrown with grasses, alders, and willows, and in many places, natural meanders and wet scrub form, providing habitat for numerous species of birds, amphibians, and aquatic insects. In summer, storks, herons, and kingfishers are common along the river.
