Winkelerbosk (also known as Van Coehoornbos) is an open forest with a large variety of old trees. Beech and oak with undergrowth of stinzen plants. The open structure makes it easy to hear and see forest birds. Among the breeding birds there are brglez, veliki detel, mala uharica, črnoglavka and črnoglavi muhar.
