In Poelbroekpark and the Meerwijkplas you will find lakes, reed hedges, pools, flowery grasslands and lots of birds. One of the most special birds that have been spotted is the bobnarica, but it's extremely rare. These birds will much easier to find: mali ponirek, modra taščica, slavec, Mokož, kukavica, močvirska trstnica and vrtna penica. Other birds you can see here are žličarica, konopnica, žvižgavka, mlakarica, kreheljc, tatarska žvižgavka, sivka, čopasta črnica, veliki žagar,kozica, vodomec, žličarka and trstni strnad.
