Reed fields, meadows and a row of tall trees along the Betuwe railway line where interesting bird species are regularly observed.
Kattenleger is an area where interesting birds are regularly observed. Despite the close proximity of the A15 motorway and the Betuwe railway line, the reed areas in particular offer a chance for nice species such as bobnarica and brkata sinica. You will almost certainly encounter trstni strnad, lišček, srpična trstnica and zelenonoga tukalica but also a chance of Mokož, rjavi lunj and mali ponirek.
