It Swin is a small lake surrounded by reed beds and marsh. In the autumn you can often see large groups of žvižgavka. kreheljc, žličarica, sivka, čopasta črnica, veliki žagar and mali žagar also visit the area. There are many sorts of geese around in the meadows, including the kratkokljuna gos and zlata prosenka. During the breeding season there is a chance on modra taščica,rjavi lunj, bobnarica, grahasta tukalica. During migration žličarka, velika bela čaplja and pepelasti lunj.

It Swin is located between Harich and Elahuizen (2 km from Elahuizen) on the Keamerlanswei. Parking at the gate with information panel and bench. Also at a viewing platform on the road. Outside the breeding season after 15 June, a so-called boot-path can be walked from Elahuizen through the meadows and partly over the quay of It Swin.
